What would it have hurt to play Manziel at the end of last week’s Steelers game with the Browns up by such a large margin, and again yesterday, when Hoyer couldn’t move the Offense the entire game and the Jags up 24-6? Shouldn’t Manziel be getting some game experience.
I’m a Hoyer Fan, but I couldn’t agree with you more. No point in drafting Johnny if we can’t find times like the end of lopsided games to get him some experience.
This one is on the coaches. You kick the field goal at the end of the first half, and take a 9-0 lead into the half up 2 scores. The momentum shift was the story of this game.
Never easy to win on the road, but this was a game we should have won easily.
