The Cleveland Cavaliers exercised the 4th-year contract option on guard Dion Waiters, Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin announced today.
Waiters, the fourth overall pick in the 2012 draft out of Syracuse, owns career averages of 15.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 29.2 minutes per game in 131 games (72 starts) in his two seasons with the Cavaliers.
Last season Waiters scored a career high 15.9 points per game.
